      Great Salary, Good Managers Some, Cool Employees and nice customers

      Cons

      A certain manager depending on where you work in the store ie: produce, frozen food etc can be hostile a bit.

      Pros

      I feel well taken care of since I have started working at Harris Teeter. Management is usually good about having your back and making sure you get help when needed.

      Cons

      As a salaried employee, pretty much no opportunity for overtime and they do not always ask for opinions before they change policies such as expanding pharmacy hours.

      Pros

      The pros for working at Harris Teeter was that you got a 10% discount and you get a ton of hours because the store is usually busy-- at least where I worked. Another pro was that since I worked as a Barista, I didn't have to deal with all the bagging and getting carts whereas Harris Teeter employees had to. You get paid above minimum wage which is was pretty awesome.

      Cons

      The managers are terrible... and I am not exaggerating. The managers pretty much expect you to be available all the time and never have any life outside of Harris Teeter. Also, customer service is the number one important thing at Harris Teeter, so even if a customer is just down-right rude to you to have to be super nice to them-- and expect management to take their side. Also, you had to take these ridiculous monthly tests and check in every month to hear about how to be nice to customers.
