Pros
The kids are great and the teachers I work with all support each other and do their best for the students.
Cons
The Superintendent has never been a teacher and was only a Principal for a very short time. She doesn't understand what it is like to be a teacher and she is completely out of touch with the community. She has surrounded herself with yes people and does not listen to the teachers. There is not enough teacher support in each school to support the needs of all the students. Many of the students are below grade level in my school, and they would benefit from extra tutoring during the school day. However, there never seems to be enough money in the district to provide this type of support and teachers feel overwhelmed with not being able to do enough.
