Pros

intellectual crowd, excellent research, good courses, great teachers, nice city to be in. YOu would love it if you want ti have a intelllectually satisfying life.

Cons

Too cut-throat atmosphere, grilling teachers. Sometimes it can be really stressful. Lot of hours in the library studying, and still you may feel very behind in studies.

Pros

Amazing benefits and endless educational opportunities (if you make the time for them)

Cons

Nealy impossible to move laterally within organization, which is structured for the benefit of high-status faculty and administration. Salaries for supporting research staff seems under-appreciative of immense "trickle down" workload and there is virtually no staff support for mid-level employees.
