Pros

In my program, the university attracts the top students in the field. Being a graduate student in the department exposes you to cutting-edge research in important fields.

Cons

It can be difficult to get professors to interact with you, so you need to be self-motivated. The physical facilities are not wel maintained.

Pros

This one of the top places in the world to do research. You can meet amazing people, talented and very smart.

Cons

Competition is fierce. Sometimes you find out about people's behaviors that go beyond healthy competition and just make you question if this represents how science is done nowadays.

Pros

Great benefits and access to world class resources. Working with leading experts on international issues. Tuistion assistance at Harvard Extension School is another huge benefit.

Cons

Personally, the research was interesting but after a while became slow moving. If you enjoy a wide range of issues this may not be the place for you as the work tends to be specialized.
