      Pros

      None, honestly. You could gain an average level experience-good as a stepping stone for a desperate recent grad. Don't stay more than a few months. It's good as an internship, not a full-time job.

      Cons

      Small, very toxic. Leaders use staff as a front but there really isn't much going on at the "center". High turnover rate. You can do much better elsewhere!

      Pros

      Pros: - Education benefits, including tuition remission for Harvard schools - Generous paid time off, accrues with years spent working there - Great health insurance and options - Work/life balance, especially being part of HUCTW (union) -- 9 - 5pm - Remote work

      Cons

      Cons - Very limited internal mobility -- have to move within Harvard to grow, difficult to grow on same team - Culture can be tough, especially in white-male faculty dominated settings. Very much so power dynamics between faculty and staff (us vs. them) - HR doesn't get rid of toxic people, just places them somewhere else - In my experience, HR is not supportive - Organizational issues can persist for YEARS - no consistent support from HR
