Pros

1. A culture of sharing technical information. Their Slack groups are awesome! 2. Lots of opportunities to learn and do certifications. 3. Excellent secondary job! Mediocre work and opportunities.

Cons

1. This is a "body shopping " company! 2. Highly underpay ( will pay as much as 1/3 or 1/2 your market value). Please haggle before you join. 2. Very unsupportive HR and management. Recent NTT merger has made things worse. Dont contact HR unless completely necessary! 3. Micromanaged. If you are self motivated, this place is not for you!

Pros

Being associated with the organisation for a fair amount of time, I consider myself eligible enough to write an honest and deserving review. It's to an individual to get as much out of the organisation as they can in their foundation years and prepare themselves to the level the organisation wants them to. This is one of the best things about Hashmap that they provide you with the right environment to learn, to grow, to ask the right questions and give the required assistance if and when needed. I myself have been fortunate enough to gain the maximum in my initial days and was even able to give it back in a way it was supposed to with the help of a really good team. There are definitely some pros to the company . Flexible working hours for the developers. . Ample exposure to new technologies with the required guidance and resources to learn them. . Trust in the employees. . Focus on certifications so that they can make sure the resource stays relevant to the market and industry. . Onsite opportunities for everyone alike based on talent and tenure alike. . Rewarding the employees if and when they truly deserve it. . Ensuring the safety of women. . Having made some huge changes in the functionality, management styles and policies the management is giving a sense of security to the employees. . The CEO! He really binds everyone together. . Really talented employees onshore and offshore.

Cons

As stated earlier, that I have been associated with the company for a long time, I've definitely seen them go through certain things which I believe, could have been handled better and some could have been avoided entirely. . Firing some employees without any prior notice. (They always could have been put into some PIP or maybe could have been warned about it) . Under utilisation of some very experienced resources. . Not appointing right man for the right job. . Mismanagement which has changed to a great level with some system coming onto a place and after some hard decisions. . Low interaction with the employees had been a problem for a long time in the past. . Very less employee engagement initiatives. . Too much focus on certain employees which makes the others in the team/company seem insignificant. . Taking longer than expected to make some important structural changes.
