      Pros

      - Good pay - Good workplace - Equal opportunity to most nationalities - Good if you are higher up in the organization - CEO has a great vision for the company

      Cons

      - Organization is not their forte; everything is a mess - HR people have no idea what they are doing (and everyone in engineering knows that) - They don't invest in training of new staff - Making too many people redundant at the same time

      Pros

      Great training opportunities - courses, conferences etc. Hatch spends way more than our competitors supporting industry associations and events. If self motiviated and creative, can do your own thing. Great learning on projects. Good variety of projects keeps things interesting.

      Cons

      Lack of business leading to massive cuts (but probably similar to our competitors). Nearly impossible for a women or visible minority to reach the upper echelons of Hatch. As far as I know, not a single women in 60 years has been on the board of directors..... Too much arrogance at the board level. Lack of appreciation for our mid career and senior employees.
