Pros

1. The supervisors and other staff are helpful. If you are new to the job they will show you the ropes. Some of the best people I have ever worked with.

Cons

1. Its hard work and you can only leave when your section is prepped and cleared. That can range from 6 to 12 hours on some days. However, coming in knowing you are dealing with heavy furniture the work load is understandable.

Pros

You will learn a lot about corporate politics and business relations, as well as Customer Service. There are some great people working there, and you'll make friendships that will last. The pay and benefits are competitive with others in the industry.

Cons

There is little opportunity to advance if you have a family and aren't able to move to another location. There doesn't seem to be much room for growth and recognition as far as ideas or collaboration go. There is a high turnover also.

My coworkers were like family. Most of the people had been there for many years from 5-25 years at the same store. I like the flexibility they had with me being in college. During Christmas they have us $75 gift cards that you can use on anything.

Cons

No opportunity of advancement unless someone quits which is never.
