      Pros

      The compensation level at Hawkins and room for financial and career growth is very high. My life has changed significantly since starting at Hawkins 9 years ago. The average tenure of Hawkins' employees is 7 years, you're working with people who care about what they do, care about our customers and care about the company's performance. We were the highest performing publicly traded company stock in Minnesota in 2023. We continue to outperform the S&P Small Cap 600 Index, Russell 2000 Index and both Nasdaq Composite & Industrial Indices. This is important to us because we have a competitive ESPP, meaning you directly benefit from Hawkins' stock performance. Hawkins has been operating since 1938 and we're part of the critical infrastructure everywhere that we operate. You're contributing to safe and clean drinking water in your own community and many others. It's fun to work at Hawkins, I genuinely enjoy my coworkers' company and look forward to coming to work. There is a good blend of eager young employees and seasoned workers excited about sharing their industry knowledge with the next generation.

      Cons

      If you're looking for a hybrid or remote position, they are few and far between at Hawkins. We promote an in-person work experience and we benefit from the internal relationship building it creates.

      Great team where you can make an impact. Flat company structure allows you to work with upper management and feel seen/heard.

      Cons

      Flat company structure can be a con for some, as titles may not change often.

      Hawkins is an exceptional company with a solid growth record. The people are welcoming, the leadership team is approachable, and goals/responsibilities are clearly defined. Compensation is above industry averages. Benefits are exceptional.

      Cons

      Everyone has a lot on their plate so organization and solid work ethic are important. Not necessarily a con, but may present as a challenge to some. For others, it's an opportunity to grow.
