      Pros

      The Leadership team at Health Catalyst has been patient, reassuring and compassionate during the pandemic. They made difficult decisions and were able to maintain jobs for their employees all while using the platform to help healthcare systems take care of patients. I am proud to be part of this amazing team who hasn't lost sight of their values even while expanding the company and services.

      Cons

      While I appreciate the efficiency work being done and realize the necessity, the communication style of "wins" equating to reduction in costs and FTEs to do the work can make it appear that we are at risk of losing our jobs. It's not good for morale to be constantly concerned that you are working yourself out of a job.

Thank you also for the feedback regarding how we manage the sustainability of our business and how we communicate our position. While it is important for us to be financially sustainable, and while we strive to show respect to our teammates by being transparent, there is a balance there, and certainly our goal and objective is to enable our team members to each have a very positive, long-term career experience at Health Catalyst. And while we have to earn the right to continue forward as a company and in every individual position, that is certainly our plan and our goal for every position.       Pros

      Amazing work/life balance that starts on day one. Full transparency between senior leadership and the staff. Very much a company that wants to hire the best and brightest and will pay above market value for the right people. Amazing additional benefits beyond the normal medical, dental and vision. A company that you can be proud to be a part of.

      Cons

      As a newer hire, the on boarding process was spread out over four days. This made for lots of downtime to start. Would have preferred it be two longer sessions, but overall nothing really bad to say about this company.

      Great company, great mission

      Pros

      Health Catalyst's leadership transparency and desire to do right by the employee is rare and sets the company apart. The mission is noble and motivates me to do my best. I work with excellent people who share the vision and want to do whats right for the customers. The CEO takes considerable time to talk to hundreds of employees and read and respond to Glassdoor reviews, which is really impressive.

      Cons

      The culture is very nice sometimes to a fault. Some progress is being made, but constructive feedback may not always be given when needed, which prevents employees from recognizing and developing areas they need to improve.
