Micromanagement is very stressful. An employer must know and trust that his/hers employees will do their job. Competently.

Managers, under the direction of administration, bully those they are supposed to be supporting. Every unit was like a family for the first nine years I worked there. After the current administration came in about two years ago, it became very top heavy with administrators and managers and very evident that they were given specific instructions to do the horrible things that they did. Up to four people were fired at one time, employees would be targeted and then tormented with bogus write-ups until they either quit or were fired. And I am talking about people who had been with this organization 10, 20, 30 years. Going up the administrative ladder was a joke because they were all part of it. It was devastating to watch one great co-worker after another be tortured, and then leave. Risk management, corporate compliance, and the administrators were each notified at one time or another and would always come back saying the complaint was unfounded. All I can say is shame on you!
