Working at HQY has plenty of benefits/opportunities such as its fully remote which saves time/money from the individuals that would normally have to commute. HQY also pays a very competitive salary compared to market standard. HQY also provides the 3 pay ranges for each role so every employee knows how much their range is and what the ranges are for a mid-level or Sr in their role. HQY also provides pay ranges for open roles so current and potential individuals have a good understanding what the pay is like across multiple departments. HQY provides great benefits and allows indiviudals to be who they want to be. Also at HQY the company is located in Utah but the majority of the employees live in many different states in the US so its not local just to Utah. This allows HQY to recruite a broad range of candidates and allows hiring managers to choose the best of the best.

Cons

With being a fully remote company team moral and company culture is a bit more difficult to feel vs being in office. Also being remote presents a few different struggles when trying and getting to know co-workers.

In my career I have not worked at a company that is so committed to the care of their employees. The Benefits are amazing, they really do walk the talk on life balance taking care of yourself both physically and mentally. From movement money to mental health benefits. The topper is giving each employee 16 hours of paid time to volunteer.

Cons

I don't have a con when you do need to put in the long hours, and sometimes you do, there is always recognition of this through the Motivosity program, both in a thank you and monetarily.
