Pros

free parking! Starbucks within walking distance (edge of parking lot) restaurants withing walking distance (barbecue, sandwich deli, Chipotle, etc.) you get a severance package if you're laid off

Cons

* business attire Mon-Friday. No casual days. * much depends on which manager you're working for, and which department you're working in * poor communication between departments * they were desperate to hire me..didn't even want to wait the 2 weeks I needed to give to my prior employer (but I insisted). Then I get there and they don't even have me set up in Active Directory so I had no PC or email access for several days. By the time I got laid off in spring 2009 (one of the unannounced layoffs) my team was decimated 80% (some of which was admittedly due to attrition). Another (announced) layoff occurred today so the total employee population is now about half of what it was when I started there. The issues with deceptive trade practices and regulatory compliance are well-publicized and no secret. Neither is the fact that huge multi-million dollar fines and penalties have been levied on the company. Frankly, until all that is cleaned up and "good faith" practices/procedures are in place, it's probably best to decline a job offer there -- that is, if they're currently hiring.
