      Pros

      Making my own hours and getting paid what I think I'm worth! Sounds like a dream, but it's real. I can't think of a better place to be. By far, the training is #1! It's ongoing, and we get access to industry experts. We have the opportunity to open a store in our community and be active members in it. Nothing compares to waking up and knowing that I can help people build a wall of protection for their health and income, and make a great living at it!

      Cons

      Managing my time has never been more challenging then working here. I have to punch my own time clock, but it is well worth having to over come the desire to sleep in, or work from home, in order to advance in my career.

      watch out for commission . not what they promise

      Pros

      They promise too much and cant deliver . When I quit to work independently, They send me charges they cant explain and ask me to pay them them .... bottom line they cant be trusted and watch out if you quit they won't give you a release to work somewhere else. I put this in pro because they have no pro at all . I got paid half the commission they promised and their lead forward program is fraud.

I put this in pro because they have no pro at all . I got paid half the commission they promised and their lead forward program is fraud. Also you have to attend a meeting on Fridays and waste half day listening to the same thing over and over. Watch out for what they promise

      Pros

      Working at HealthMarkets gives me the opportunity to build my own business with the support of a great company backing me and assisting with back office support. At HealthMarkets they help you build a business plan, set a target compensation goals and they teach you how to meet and exceed that compensation goal.

      Cons

      If you are not a self-motivator or self-investor this opportunity may not be right for you. Stepping out of your comfort zone to be successful is necessary until you find what works for you.
