Pros

I work at the corporate office with the agents. I like the relationships I have built with them. I enjoy the open door policy with management. I appreciate I can voice my opinions both good and bad (respectfully). I like how they are open and honest with us on the direction of the company.

Cons

Carrier commissions its my biggest complaint. It has nothing to do with us but it is what I deal with the most. My agents need to get paid.

Pros

Honestly there is no reason to get a job at this company right now. They are currently downsizing to about half of their employees

Cons

This company is slowly dying. They have been laying off employees since 2006 and it isn't stopping any time soon. As of January of 2015 they will be outsourcing most of their main operations.

Thank you for the review. The Affordable Care Act has brought tremendous change to the industry, requiring us to make adjustments to our workforce and operations as a whole. It’s important to note that while we have eliminated positions in some areas, we are adding roles in other strategic areas, such as our sales force, and we try to transition employees to new roles within the organization when appropriate and possible. Unfortunately change is never easy, but we believe this is a strong company, with talented people, that is well positioned to continue to succeed in this new environment.

Pros

Good reporting and resource center. Many products to offer

Cons

Poor management style in NC, low pay out on health products, high cost to purchase your leads, zero payout when selling BCBS if you are less than a tier II or III representative.
