Pros
**Looking for a Great Agency to Work With? Consider HealthMarkets.** Hi, my name is Doniel. I've been in the insurance business for a while now—working with just about every call center in the Fort Lauderdale area. Through it all, *HealthMarkets* stands out as the only agency I’ve found that truly cares about its agents. Here’s what they offer: ✅ Live Transfers ✅ Flexible Hours – Work When You Want ✅ Bonuses & Paid Vacations (must meet requirements) ✅ Residual Income (starting after 1 to 1.5 years) ✅ Comprehensive Training ✅ Work from Home or in an Office – Your Choice ✅ Build Your Own Book of Business ✅ Work from Anywhere (Wi-Fi + a phone = your office) I could go on, but I’ll keep it real—this is an honest review, not a sales pitch. I’ve been with HealthMarkets for over two years now (2 years and 3 months to be exact), and between bonuses and commissions, I’ve hit six figures—all from home—by helping people find affordable health insurance. This isn’t bragging—just the truth. I work from home. I don’t have a boss breathing down my neck or telling me what hours I need to work. I’ve been in those call centers, stuck in a cubicle next to someone named Jim, selling discount plans no one really wants. This is different. I’m not here to bash other agencies—but I will say this: *HealthMarkets changed my life.* So much so, that now all my sons are licensed insurance brokers too. We all work from home, thanks to the support we’ve received from HealthMarkets. As a father of 7 sons and a husband of 31 years, this opportunity has allowed me to stay close to my family, while teaching my kids how to build a real business—offering top-tier insurance products backed by publicly traded healthcare providers. If I could give HealthMarkets a 10-star review, I would. But here's the catch: whether you're newly licensed with your 214 or 215, or a seasoned agent, *you have to put in the work* to see success. Whether it's 15, 20, or 25 hours a week—it's up to you. The opportunity is there. The support is real. Thanks for reading, **Doniel**
Cons
There are NO CONS! If you decided not to work or put in the time necessary here's what could happen! *You don't get paid ( Your Fault) *You don't follow rules (Your Fault) *You're Not Compliant (Your Fault) * You Bring Problems while your trying to help folks (Your Fault) * You don't come to any meetings or trainings (Your Fault) *You don't ask for help, or advise or make any effort to do better (Your Fault) This is not really a con .... because this is sales, and Health Markets does teach compliance, enforces and fosters good work habits. I'm not a Health Markets spokesperson, and I was not paid, incentivize, held for ransom to leave a review. I'm just an agent........ This is for any agent who wants to know the truth and experience of someone who is working, being compliant and staying on top of all my customers the best I can .......so that I can provide a future for my family and leave behind a legacy.
