Pros

They teach you the very basics of extremely high volume, high pressure sales including setting an appointment and getting commitment up front before the meeting.

Cons

the entire business model is centered around selling a horrible product to simple/busy/ignorant/vulnerable populations of individuals and families and extracting as much money from them and pointing to fine print that nobody reads to reject claims. I couldn't sleep at night for years after i left the company knowing that if someone who held a policy i wrote developed a major illness or was in an accident would probably be left bankrupt or dead. to rub salt in the wound the company will try to "collect" from former employees money if your candidates cancel their policies. they will also issue you an obscene 1099 for unpaid wages that you must pay taxes on!
