They're good at trying to make you believe that YOU'RE the reason why you're not experiencing any success. They have tons of old, beaten up leads for you to call and "cut your teeth" on.
Cons
If you do not already have an existing book of business to tap into you will starve. They are 100% straight commissions, they don't offer any kind of draw or salary to help you survive as you're trying to develop and grow your business. Be prepared to deplete your savings while trying to stay afloat financially. The lead vendors that they offer for you to buy leads from are complete garbage. If you are lucky enough to ever get any of those leads on the phone, the vast majority of them will tell you that they either NEVER inquired about getting any kind of insurance OR they've already gotten coverage months ago. In terms of any sales and marketing training you're basically given rehashed advice from the 80s..... prospect your "warm market", "walk and talk" and "your 3ft circle". This is one of the main reasons the industry as a whole has such an extremely high turnover ratio. Management often brags about how much money the company makes, yet they don't re-invest any of it back into any kind of marketing for the agents.
