Pros

I have had a great experience working for this company. The pay is competitive, and the benefits are excellent, making it a place where employees feel valued. One of the things I appreciate most is the level of trust management gives their team. They are hands-off in the best way—they hire capable people, provide the resources needed, and let you do your job without unnecessary micromanagement. Another standout quality is the recognition employees receive. Hard work and accomplishments don't go unnoticed, and management is quick to give kudos when they're deserved. It's refreshing to work for a company that values both independence and appreciation. Overall, it's a supportive workplace with great compensation, excellent benefits, and a positive culture that encourages employees to succeed.

Cons

I cannot think of any cons to working for HOPCO. So far so GREAT!

Pros

Pros: Honestly, it's a chaos. It overwhelms many and turnover is high. "Throw them in the water and see if they drown" was a phrase I heard often from leadership when bringing on new hires. If you can brave it though, there is a lot of opportunity to get this thing back on the rails and create something more efficient. The pay was above what's reasonable, probably bc this company will pay a premium for smart people willing to endure.

Cons

This is a cutthroat environment. In staff meetings, leadership will talk about respect as a core value, but behind closed doors, leadership talks about staff like they're disposable. At the end of the day, every employee is just a body in a chair. The incompetence is staggering. As is the seeming disconnect between executive management and leadership. The people at the very top are smart but every day I wondered if they were aware of the situation on the ground and the way this company is holding itself together with hopium and duct tape.
