Pros

Good benefits, nice offices, normal hours for the most part

Cons

experience is entirely dependent on which team youre on. in my experience, managers were not well trained and did not make time for their employees. Directors and managers frequently showed up late to calls, rescheduled, or cancelled entirely. Performance reviews and one on one meetings were never structured. Project goals and expectations were never made clear. Friendly coworkers but management could care less.

Pros

The benefits are stellar. Holidays, medical, and even childcare reimbursement.

Cons

Work hours cut into your personal life. Very little room to grow or advance.

A failing media organization

Pros

A once flexible company - the only con at this point is that it's a creative work environment

Cons

The biggest thing you need to know about Hearst is that there is zero room for growth. This company has gone soooo downhill. Upper management sets impossible goals to hit, and their remote policy has gone out the window. Very, very strict on their 3 day in-office policy No room for growth
