Pros

The company treats its employees well, pay is good for the role. Some chances to move around in the company as well.

Cons

Local management may reflect differently than the company.

Pros

Great benefits, schedule flexibility, opportunities to move to different stations and move up in the company.

Cons

Pay varies per market but extremely low in the cities that cost the most.

Pros

You get to work with some really smart and interesting people. And meeting some celebs is an unique perk. As a filmmaker, I never expected to earn a middle-class salary, so I do recommend it for film folks. Work-life is hard until you figure it out. Layoffs are rare, but have happened.

Cons

Half of the managers are insane, and make everyone's lives harder for no reason. As a video shooter/editor, I don't have much room to grow unless I want to get into management. Work will pile on, unless you get proactive about protecting your time.
