Pros

Learned a lot in my three year tenure at Heartbeat. Working in healthcare, one of the best things can be is the mission to help people, this team doesn't forget that wether clinicians or engineers.

Cons

No cons, always growing pains but these continued to be streamlined with our successes. Healthcare can at times be slow going, this team manages it well

Pros

Learned some interesting things about the heart.

Cons

It took a couple of months of no longer working there to understand how toxic an environment it had been. Very arrogant management team on the software side. Management wants to code instead of manage. Engineering management not just not open to suggestions or criticism but openly disdainful of it during retros. The approach to team efficiency often felt like wasting dollars to save pennies.
