Abusive leadership No ownership Ignore complaints Unpaid on call Limited training Very much a don’t talk to other teams or else mentality MS certifications = sainthood Fire tenured employees to hire college kids for pocket change Carrot and stick Can’t grow due to excessive retention issues

Very inviting and positive (at first) Learn quite a bit as you go Coworkers are great Comp for patching

Cons

Pay scale is poor Longevity is a joke Carrot and stick mentality Extra responsibilities no compensation Unpaid on call Expected to just figure it out Upper management has ZERO accountability Very clear as long as the head honchos are making money nothing else matters
