They Work You Like a Dog

It's definitely a sustainable company, it's reliable, and everyone in HR and in the interviews is very friendly. Decent benefits.

Cons

They work you like a dog. Shifts are 10 hours long and you only get one 30 minute lunch break and a 15 minute break. For $14 an hour, it's not worth it. Leads teach you for 5 minutes and then just let you go and don't help you much. Can get very confusing.

The production teams in all of our Distribution Centers are some of the most important teams we have at HelloFresh and we’re glad you liked our team and benefits. Work life balance is so important, and while some employees do work four 10-hour shifts a week, this schedule allows them to have three full days off each week and to take time to enjoy their weekends. All employees get on the job training and graduate from HelloFresh Safety School, however if you have suggestions of other ways we can support employees learning their jobs please reach out to your local HR team directly.

Pros

The people you work with that are below director level are all really great to work with. The company as a whole is doing very well right now due to extra business from COVID so there is job security.

Cons

Everyone at or above the director level in operations is pretty awful to work with, to the point it makes most people question if they want to still be working here.

Disorganization, immature workforce, work/life balance issues, little concern for staff during COVID-19 outbreaks, and reinforced huddled groups during the height of the outbreak in NY.

Thank you for sharing your experience on the Creative Team in Boulder. We’re glad you enjoyed some of our perks like our employee discount. The health and safety of our employees and customers is our top priority. In our Distribution Centers we provide all employees with face masks, added temperature checking, enforced social distancing measures and provided additional financial and medical support to employees who required it. In our HQ locations employees can work from home until they feel comfortable returning to the office, with the opportunity to work remotely until September 2021. While many teams cannot physically be together right now, we put a lot of care into ensuring they feel connected while remote. To bring people together we have transitioned to virtual activities like cooking classes, guided webinars and virtual happy hours.
