      Hell for plant employees, paradise for everyone else

      Recognized and promising brands State of the art advertising and sales group Great products that have been in use for decades Promosing field for enterpreneurial spirits (laundry, adhesives, etc) Global oportunities Decent benefits

      Cons

      There's a huge gap between employees in the plants and the corporate in terms of treatment, pay, inclusion, participation, and decision making. Incentive stucture (for both lower level managers as well as top executive management) priorities short-term gains while neglecting long-term impact. This makes a viscous cicle: top execs fail to meet targets, and are replaced with the next batch, who suffer the same fate after several years. Weak or non-existent auxillary support (finance, IT, accounting, HR, etc) Company buys old and crumbling plants with a lack of udnerstanding that there's a long-term cost involved with such a decision. Hell for plant employees. Cost cutting every year North American AO have not met their targets for 3 year straight, hence more pain for people under

      Great company if you don't mind it being slow and risk averse

      Pros

      They are generous with employees, give ok benefits. Managers tend to be flexible and allow you to do your job. There's been a lot of focus on training management to be better and more engaging to employees. It's a good brand and it is trying to improve it's gender parity and reduce environmental foot print.

      Cons

      It can only grow by acquisitions. It's internal processes are super slow and only really allow for marginal improvements to existing products and product lines. Not a great company if you have an idea for the next great chemistry.... Super risk averse...won't invest in anything that might go wrong.

      Pros

      Flexibility and very good pto, nice people

      Cons

      Very low pay and no advancement on position or pay. The average raise is a joke considering the inflation even if they double it, not enough to survive. Company highers more people who has H1B visa and pay less. They expect higher level position work at lower salary. If you don't care about advancement or pay then it is great company. The people in management not so bright and have no basic knowledge in related field. It is always about the company growth in all the meetings and when it comes to your growth they any have 30 min annually to talk about.
