Pros

There are many pros to working at Henkel and especially in Bay Point, CA. Overall, Henkel offers great benefit packages, and it is exciting to be part of a large company with many household brands. What's more exciting is at the Bay Point facility we are part of the aerospace industry. However, for me, the best part of the job is the culture and people I get to work with. There are also many opportunities for growth, and Henkel does well to reward those with ambition for leadership.

Cons

This is a chemical facility that produces adhesive for the aerospace industry, so there is an element of risk in working with chemicals and heavy equipment.

Pros

Cooperation among coworkers much better than average. Most supervisors very flexible with work life balance. Solid benefits package with many options. Local management typically interested in your input and help to make you successful in your goals. HR accessibility very good. Lots of communication from top down. Advancement and learning opportunities. All manner of required equipment made available.

Cons

Too much unnecessary effort spent on the social issues of the day, e.g., DEI. No additional compensation to onsite workers through the Covid pandemic. Responsible workers do most of the work while slackers receive similar or more salary.
