Pros

Medical software is fun and exciting. Due to government requirements and certifications there are a lot of fun and exciting changes floating in. Fast pace.

Cons

Low pay, low moral, everyone always seems unhappy, people don't work together or share knowledge. Some have been with the company for years, it's stable and its great for collecting a paycheck however it is not a great place to grow in your role. People take job security very seriously. I still run into people out and about that work there and the response is always negative as to how things are doing. No one ever seems happy.

Pros

The Team mentality for Henry Schein is very important. I always feel comfortable working with the Team whenever I have a question. I have learned a lot in the time I have been with Schein. I could have not found a better place of co-workers to work with.

Cons

They do not always have room for growth or retain very good talent. If a person gets another offer they rarely will come close to matching that salary. Can be hard to move up within the company.

The Company is very involved in community activities and helping to provide health screenings to adults and children in under-served areas.

Cons

The level of professional respect in the corporate finance area continues to decline steadily. More and more decisions being made by finance management do not take into account the success of current processes. Changes being implemented in a dictatorship manner with no regard for the significant experience that finance staff brings each day. Turnover has continued to increase.
