Pros

Flexible work schedule. Approachable lead team. Incredible mission.

Cons

Poor onboarding. Corners frequently cut. Lots of boundary overstepping with regards to roles/responsibilities. Self-serving atmosphere where people “getting ahead” are singularly-focused, out for themselves, or part of the inner circle (which is slightly nepotistic). Lack of organizational structure and leadership. Constant state of reaction—drinking from a fire hose and dealing with angry host sites/hotels and clients on a super regular basis. Undercutting culture.

Some autonomy, changes of scenery, meeting new people, helping women.

Cons

No guarantee of income. Hours often reduced or schedule cancelled at the last minute. Poor communication between employees and clients. No paid holidays, even though they are closed. No notable benefits. Little support for ultrasound techs in the field. Inconsistent hours/pay. Impossible to anticipate schedules.
