Pros
Scientists, engineers, and techs are like a family, opportunity to really learn freely from peers within the entire facility. Brilliant and incredibly driven coworkers
Cons
Nepotism, gender pay gap, little oversight on job performance. Upper management will point the blame at everyone else, but do little to change themselves. Leadership is lacking in this aspect, only 30% upper management knows what the actual work entails and will do their responsibilities with humility, the rest just run around in circles or sit at their desks and criticize everyone else and take no blame or any form of self reflection. knock a person off the ladder to move up mentality
