Pros
The work is easy, you usually tend to get into a rhythm day to day.
Cons
The workplace was filled with gossip and rumors, creating an extremely toxic environment. Instead of fostering teamwork and professionalism, many employees—including those in leadership—engaged in spreading misinformation about their colleague. As if that weren't bad enough there is also a huge amount of favoritism and racism in the workplace. One of our tasks was to help out the delivery drivers by tagging along with them on their runs. While you would imagine that would be straight forward it was anything but, in my experience as a person of Mexican origin I, along with two other coworkers of hispanic origin would be paired with the only driver who was Latino. While the only Caucasian member of our department would be able to stay back. While this would lower morale, keep in mind that including myself 4 out 5 members of the Warehouse Worker department exceeded the experience of the Caucasian employee but within a span of 4 months he was promoted. Not to mention was also the nephew of our Supervisor. In due time this job to provide assistance to the delivery drivers while being framed to be a responsibility of the whole department was soon only assigned to myself and another coworker.
