Pros

Managers are given a car, fuel, and insurance for the vehicle. Good benefits

Cons

Very long work hours. I work 7 am to 7pm just bout two to three times out of the week. Constant changes to our bonus structure that make it hard to get a good bonus.

Pros

Pros of working at hertz was the ability to test drive the different cars. I also like at my branch I had almost guaranteed overtime

Cons

The quality of cars was poor. I had the laziest manager and we never had cars. Also I worked a a uber partnered hertz so dealing with those customers without being compensated through a bonus was terrible

Pros

You will get paid weekly

Cons

Lack of structure Managers are rarely available to employees Managers rotate through departments so you don't know who to ask for help Extremely high turnover rate of managers and employees Hostile/unpleasant environment (employees despise and talk down about eachother) Lack of co-worker morale and support Took away commission opportunities to make money and pay bills Lack of growth (if given the rare opportunity, you will be often times be forced into a management position and eventually fired) Hire to fire "Hired last, fired first" Do not tend to employee needs nor appreciate the employee Rude customers Lack of proper scheduling so overworking often occurs Do not respect part-time employees (don't get to pick or discuss your schedule; will move you from days to nights, employees don't respect depending on department) Employees take hour lunches which sometimes results in you being alone to deal with 10+ customers at a time Always new changes that do not benefit the employees just the company and higher corporate paid positions (ex: CEO) Couple occasions where departments did not receive their correct pay 100 audits are made on your interaction with customers (IR) Counter sales runs managers Customers pay less on rentals than employees do with their discount (40%) You'll get written up for calling in, if you don't call in you'll get written up twice for not calling AND not coming. So either way you still get written up for not showing up If you damage a vehicle you get drug tested Customers treat you like you're their servant Tablets and technology barely work
