Pros

My personal and professional growth acquired by working at one of the worst run companies in America is bar none. My experience and skills make me a more valuable person and potential employee for someone else. Thank you for that opportunity.

Cons

Unbelievable turnover at the branch level. Can’t bring on new people and train them fast enough. Is a companywide issue everywhere. Many do not last through the training period. Low pay-don’t tell me it’s competitive even at Branch Manager or Area Manager level. Locations are perpetually short-staffed; staff works too many hours for too long and burns out. Focus at every level of management is optional sales and revenues under the guise of unachievable “stretch goals.” My advice is to plan for your last day on your first day of employment. If the long hours, high stress level, lack of work-life balance don’t get you, termination for not reaching your goals will. Poor advancement opportunities. Advancement is selective and based on how much you buy into the mentality of upper management. Unreasonable expectations and goals. Bonus opportunity? If you can meet the unreasonable goals. Micromanagement at every level. Work-life balance? Zero. You could work 24 hours a day and not get done what you need to. The requirement to do more and achieve more is relentless, disparaging and eventually a wakeup call that the problem is outside your human control and you must come to peace with it.

Pros

-The job itself is fairly easy -Good discount on cars -Working at the airport you meet some interesting people

Cons

-There is no work/life balance. You'll be scheduled for 40 hours off the bat, but then they'll tack on 4 extra hours to almost every day you're scheduled and force you to come in for 8 hours on your days off. I haven't had a day off in over a month and work 70+ hours every week. -The sales goals are extremely unrealistic and are hit by 20% or less of employees on a monthly basis -The managers are unforgiving when making the schedule and do not seem to care if you have any personal events going on -Your job is constantly being threatened by the managers. Their idea of motivation is to let you know you'll be in the unemployment line if you don't step it up. There's no positive reinforcement to speak of, and you're never, EVER congratulated for doing a good job.
