Well almost every aspect of this job was terrible but here is a short list.
1) Long work hours 7:30am to 6:00pm Mon-Fri open 9am - 1pm Sat.
2) Zero work life balance
3) Managers are promoted on the "Good ole Boys standard" if you fit in it is great but if you don't good luck.
4) High stress environment. You must sale to meet your numbers. You have to satisfy your accounts and customers that accounts abuse.
5) Constantly have to call and fight with a paying 3rd party (insurances).
6) Customers are generally in a bad mood because their only car is in the shop and you have to sale a ridiculously expensive insurance package that they don't need.
7) Low staffed locations so you have to do literally everything from cold call sales, in office manager duties and even wash/vacuum cars out while in a suit and tie.
8) 12 dollar and hour wage starting. Assistant manager makes 13 dollars an hour but bonuses off the locations. Location mangers make 32,000 salary and get to take a car home every night. But not the same car every night so good luck planning a trip after work.
9) This a a company that banks off the fact that they will have a 98% turnover rate. They bring you in and use and abuse you.
10) To get this job you have to have a college degree. You don't need one they just require it.
