Pros

you get plenty of exerience as you work major hrs. typical work week is about 50+ hrs. if you sell worthless insurance you can make alot of commision but that is if you are good.

Cons

working major hours for little pay. you feel like some shmuck w/ a degree doing a simple job. no real work satisfaction as you get no respect. no career path unless you get out of the local branches and work at hq. you will feel guilty selling worthless insurance as 90% of the ppl who buy them rarely use it.

Pros

Being the New Kid on the Block isn't always the easiest transition but I felt my desicion to come to work for Hertz was a great one. I feel that I will be able to grow with the company and that Hertz will provide a long career for me. Some of the best things about Hertz are summarized below: -Great Benefits Package -Support from Upper Level Management is exceptional -Opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions -Corporate communication is at its finest -Team environment -People are friendly and helpful -Work load is well distributed

Cons

Some downsides at Hertz are as follows: -Onboarding wasn't really existant; although that is being implemented now -Learning curve is huge coming from a different segment of business -Be prepared to be acronymed to death; it gets easier over time -Service Vehicle benefit not extended to anyone other than Management -Locating appropriate person for assistance at OKC and Park Ridge can be challenging -Outdated reporting systems

Pros

Hertz does have good benefits and does offer alot of time off.

Cons

All the time off you are offered u rarely get to take it all. Managers are made to do manual labor for majority of their shifts. Bonuses are retracted at a moments notice. If you like having a degree and washing cars for a living this is the place for you.
