Pros

Pretty Decent Benefits including profit sharing which can be good if at a high enough level in the company

Cons

-Hi-Lex's biggest problem is that there is no value to ethics. There is a strong likelihood that any engineer who works at Hi-Lex will be forced to compromise their own ethics so that the company can look good. -Compensation is pretty bad, annual reviews may be good but performance based raises are not in line with the market. They justify this with the fact that there is profit sharing. -Hours are long. Company stretches every employee as far as they can. People with significant seniority are discouraged from taking all of their vacation days because it interferes with getting business done.
