      Pros

      I love that HiBob is changing the face of HR and putting people at the heart of what is traditionally a process-led function. There are some great teams at HiBob and a real desire to perform. The marketing and brand team are producing great work, the customer success teams are driving improvements and overall everyone really cares about what they are doing.

      Cons

      Growing pains and they are at the cusp of moving into a global company so they need to address some of the challenges this brings. There is a tendency to resort to the Tel Aviv way of doing things which is more agile and entrepreneurial.

      Fantastic place to work

      Pros

      I worked at HiBob for a few months and had to leave due to family reasons. I loved my time at HiBob and, despite my short time there, I consider it one of the best professional experiences I've ever had. I worked in the Lisbon office with the development team distributed between Portugal and Israel. HiBob has a great culture with friendly, helpful and competent people. Overall the quality of the code is good, the technology stack is excellent, and the product is interesting. Despite my departure at an inconvenient time for them, everyone was professional and very helpful with my circumstances.

      Cons

      If I had to nitpick something, I'd say I prefer a hybrid model without the minimum of 2 days per week in the office. I like to go to the office when there's an advantage to working in the office (like working on design or working with specific coworkers), but I prefer to work at home when I'm more focused on coding. That said, working in the office was great, and it was quiet enough not to bother me.

Our research and planning also showed in-person engagement to be a valuable experience for all. So, we’ve incorporated 2 days of in-office time, offering Bobbers the opportunity to build deeper and more rewarding relationships, and be more collaborative.
