Pros

Overall: Hibu is a strong place to work if you want autonomy, clear goals, and a digital product that solves real problems for local businesses. The role gives you space to operate like a consultant rather than a script‑driven salesperson. Pros • Real independence You control your schedule and manage your territory without micromanagement. The company expects you to plan your own routes, research accounts, and run your week the way that works best. • Clear expectations Targets are straightforward. You always know where you stand and what you need to close month‑to‑month and quarter‑to‑quarter. • Product you can confidently sell The digital suite—including websites, listings management, reputation tools, SEO, and ads—fits what small and mid‑sized businesses need. Owners appreciate that it is all managed for them, which makes conversations productive. • Support when you need it Management is accessible and responsive but not intrusive. You can get help with strategy, product questions, or complex clients without losing control of your day. • Strong earning potential If you build a consistent funnel and work your territory, the commission structure pays well. Upsells and renewals add stability after your first few months. • Relationship‑driven work You become the digital advisor for your region. Meeting owners face to face leads to better conversations and long‑term relationships.

Cons

• You must be self‑driven If you wait for direction, this role will feel difficult. Success depends on planning, prospecting, and staying consistent. • Territory work can be demanding Covering multiple towns requires organization. It is a good fit only if you like being on the road and meeting businesses in person.

Pros

This company gives you all of the tools to succeed. The training is thorough and sets you up to do well. I have felt nothing but support from not only my direct management but also higher ups...which is really hard to get anywhere else. If you want a great work life home balance while making uncapped commission this is the place for you.

Cons

If you do not have self discipline, lack motivation and are not willing to put in the work, this is not the job for you.
