Pros

There are many products to offer to clients and the hours are flexible. It is a great resume builder due to the exposure to a multitude of different products. ie: SEO, SEM, Direct mail etc

Cons

After the initial 3 weeks of training that only teaches print... ie ad sizes, bold listings etc. there is absolutely no training or assistance. Once you get back from training you are thrown to the wolves and expected to just go sell.

Pros

Good training program. Good tools.

Cons

The level of micromanagement and unrealistic expectations is astounding. Expect 7 am to midnight workdays with barely 20-30% of your time spent actually selling. Meetings to discuss what the want to have more meetings about. Redundant reporting that takes hours daily to complete. And management that spends their days making sure their tail is covered by constantly firing and hiring. You cannot be successful by following managements direction, and they will not back you when you fail using the system they push on you. They train a consultative sales approach but want a used car salesmen approach in the field. With first quarter sales always high, shareholder that saved them from bankruptcy expect same results throughout year which won't happen. Especially with such poor customer service, implementation, and leadership. They like to tell you that you can make 100K, but will change the comp plan in their favor keeping the hardest working reps under 50k. This is a turn and burn company that will burn you out to get results, then replace you when they make bad decisions or unrealistic goals.

Poor Management, Bad Processes, Lacking Moral

Pros

Virtual Schedule and hours, relaxed dress code, decent money but not good money. You will learn how to multi task with several different software programs, clients and product knowledge.

Cons

Constantly changing direction, poor sales management and no leadership, subpar products with lack of fulfillment after a sale. Back end support at the home office has been scaled back/undertrained and overworked. Shipped important fulfillment jobs overseas to the Philippines. Once you are able to overcome objections and finally make a sale, it can all go to "pot" with antiquated billing systems that aren't in synch with the new programs. ,"Some" customer service staff that are not trained equally nor in sequence with the sales staff they were supposed to be helping. Lastly, the company rolls out product, technology and software programs that are not properly vetted and expect performance when most of the time you are confused about what it is you should do next. Lastly, Lastly -their websites stink!
