Pros

Home office, company computer provided, great training, good team players, serveral products to offer business owners online and in print.

Cons

Yellow Pages is preceived as a dying giant by a lot of business owners.

Pros

Make your own schedule, Varied product offerings

Cons

Company in very poor financial shape. Very few incentives besides commissions. Employees have to provide most of the food for the annual holiday party. New product strategy appears to be to come up with lots of products, fling against the wall and hope something sticks. Clients don't respect company as an expert in the internet or direct mail marketing fields.

Pros

Traveling, meeting hundreds of new people, dynamic work environment, predominantly independent and self sufficient daily operations, good benefits, livable wage.

Cons

Continually increasing work load with little to no additional compensation, inconsistent standards for promotion and raises, excessive micromanagement, refusal of company to invest in labor as their product offerings and specialties increase, little to no consideration of salaried employees time (work or personal), increasing time away from home, time in town is spent at an office doing little to no work, little to no relationship with co-workers, reduced budgets require hiring of increasingly unsavory or undependable temporary employees. While benefits are great and pay appears good, when taken in the context of the stress, travel, and responsibility of the job, it is insufficient compensation; most companies would have at least two people performing these functions, costing them at least 35% more in net labor expenses.
