      Pretty on Paper...

      Pros

      The young adult atmosphere and mix of interesting co-workers. The job sounds interesting and looks good on a resume. Decent health insurance and casual dress code.

      Cons

      Disciplinary action if you clock in late, or a manager is not happy with your production: meaning you are written up and put on probation to lose your job. Can only work 37.5 hours a week (less than full-time pay) and you have to clock out for your half hour, unpaid lunch.

      Lots of products to sell

      In the beginning it was a great fun place to work but now because of their financial difficulties the pressure to produce is crazy. They actually did lower the new business expectation but they can't make up their minds what they want us to sell. We all know the book is going away and they have other products to sell but now it's getting overwhelming. A new addition is community magazines and they've been a pain to sell because of so many other local magazines. And more products are coming. Stop already! I'm actively looking to go elsewhere. I have been a top producer so I do know how to sell but the fun has gone out of it.
