Pros

- Work/Life Balance - Company Retreats - No Meeting Tuesdays - a focus on deep work - Great Culture - Wonderful, Brilliant, Hard Working Co-workers - The ability to work on a Product that is changing the industry.

Cons

Not really anything to share, but that at times "fully Remote" is limiting when you have a problem, but they are putting processes and procedures in place to help limit the frustrations.

Pros

- Remote-first, without sacrificing camaraderie - Best work/life balance I've experienced at a small startup; no pressure to put in late nights - Lots of industry experts work here; not just tech folks trying to "disrupt" without knowing the business landscape

Cons

- No 401K matching - Only offices are in Durham and SF, if you prefer to work out of an office versus remote

Pros

People: This is one of the most important parts of a great job, and Higharc knocks it out of the park. I work with some of the smartest and kindest people of my career here. Mission: We care deeply about making homes and home-building better, and that makes the work day meaningful. Day to day work tasks: Challenging but reasonable. We're a growing startup, so there is a lot to be done and we move quickly. Higharc makes that sustainable by setting reasonable (but ambitious) goals, giving you the information and tools you need to get your job done, and then getting out of your way and empowering you to build. Work Environment: The culture is healthy, exciting and fun. We don't call ourselves a "family." We are a workplace full of talented people collaborating on something we all care about and growing the company together. One thing that really stands out and feels different is that you're given a lot of flexibility and focus time to get things done here. Leadership: Absolutely top tier. Clear vision, sharp minds, really inclusive, no ego. Compensation & Benefits: Compensation is good and includes equity. Benefits are excellent including unlimited PTO (most people take ~3 weeks). Potential: Excellent career growth/learning potential and potential for the future of the company, it's definitely on the way up and I feel like I get to be a part of that.

Cons

No real cons for me. There's a lot to do but you're given the resources and flexibility you need to do it, and the life-work balance is great. I took off one star for diversity, because it's a development area for us, but I'm proud that we're working on it early.
