There are some good people here and some departments are better than others.

Cons

They have serious leadership and systemic problems. I would stay far away from here as a educator. Pay is very poor and they do not treat staff with respect.

Wonderful students and colleagues, dedicated paraeducators

Cons

Low salary, their preference for hiring amny and everyone from Seattle Schools means very little opportunity for advancement. Too many instructional coaches who haven't been in a classroom in ages giving advice when if they are so great they should be teaching.
