When I first came to Highmark, there definitely were some times when I felt undervalued as an employee; but after moving into a different department here, I love it. There are so many opportunities and the company takes great care of you. We have an onsite health center and pharmacy.

Great benefits. Only two words I can think of.

Cons

You are a number. Nothing more, nothing less. You can be replaced at any time by someone who will do the job cheaper. Management has never done the job and has no idea how to do it. Turnover rate is very high and would be higher in a better economy. They also do somethings that are illegal. You move up by who you know.
