Pros

Benefits, gym, bank onsite, pharmacy onsite, good people in the trenches for most part. Bonuses when quotas met.

Cons

Upper management in Pittsburgh not in tune with mid-state people. Management directed to cull their herd of 1 employee even though all department employees are meeting expectations. This is not fair for many departments and puts added pressure on managers. Hurtful to many fine employees who may not be top performers, but still contribute.

Pros

- Flexible work schedule - Latest technology

Cons

- Pay is aaverage as per market - Architecture team is still figuring out how it fits into different roles. - Architects loose their technology focus as they are required to do more business work than technology work

Pros

Good benefits and on-site fitness center. Discounted parking. Many good, hard-working colleagues.

Cons

This company was a very good employer at one time but since affiliating with Highmark, employee satisfaction is much lower. Bonuses are low, telecommuting is permitted only occasionally, the environment is very stressful and chaotic and many hours of unpaid overtime are required.
