Fun job to have in school

Pros

It was really nice that employees were able to get free food for dinner or lunch. Environment is friendly with supportive management staff. Banquet events give great opportunities to learn about different companies cultures and employees working there.

Cons

Customers are sometimes very demanding so if you do not have great customer service skills, it may not be the right choice for you. Scheduling is sometimes very random, you might have to work early or late hours on holidays or weekends

I met really great people, and always enjoyed going to work. The managers are really nice and flexible around my schedule as a student.

Cons

This really depends on your job, I honestly can't think of any cons of the company overall. In my job there isn't a ton of room for growth, but it's just a part-time job.

The give great hotel discounts when traveling. Meeting (and networking with, if you're on your A-game) people from any and every walk of life.

Cons

Owned and operated by LBA Properties. Current General Manager is completely unprofessional. He refuses to utilize cover sheets when sending faxes, regardless of the information on it. Needless to say I have had to go through the "recycle bin" a few times to shred my and others SSN's, DOB's, etc. LBA Properties never believes anything said against GM until you go to the top of the chain with the same proof you offered the lower level s
