      Pros

      Work life balance is great! Management is receptive to new ideas and your opinion is valued. It's tough getting promoted but it did happen for me, so I am honored. Workload can be intense but I never feel burnt out. Hines provides excellent resources and training. Who else flies a new accountant to Texas for training? Also, working for an iconic Los Angeles property has very nice perks.

      Pros

      The company values employees of all levels and it shows. There are great systems in place to help managers access valuable information whether it is a contract or best practice Hines has it covered. Great next work of peers to get insight into common issues and if that doesn't work COES will help you. Great work/life balance and benefits. Taking my position with Hines was the best thing I did in my career and I only hope I can continue to progress with the company.

      Cons

      Promotion can be tough (locally) if you work in a smaller market and are not willing to relocate. At times paperwork and contract work can be slow going - I understand why it is needed but it can bog you down.

      Pros

      The collaborative and inclusive environment is one I haven't experienced before with extremely high level of intellect and vision to move the company forward with regard to career development, system enhancements, customer service with competitive product. The current state of employee is high functioning with the ability to take on greater responsibilities whether project based / stretch assignments or role advancement. Hines is an exceptional organization and one I was fortunate to have a career with.

      Cons

      While there are internal mobility opportunities to develop professionally they are limited to the local geography with little flexibility for individuals to lead autonomously at the top level.
