Pros

There is not a single pro.

Cons

Inflexible and hostile environment. Managers are hardcore and mean and treat consultants like toddlers. Was told to stop talking to colleagues unless it’s about work only - literally worst than school. Are not allowed to leave the office or your desk for the entire day. No candidates or clients are ever met. Simply chat to candidates over the phone for 3 minutes before hastily sending profiles through to clients. Spam the internet with profiles - does not comply to POPI Does not follow basic conditions of employment Monitor all communication Contract states that the company’s views and practices are above the law - the contract overrides the law apparently. Staff turn over is exponential Are not affraid to implement constructive dismissal if management do not like you.

Pros

With lots of communication with management and high quality work expectations, it is a tough role if you aren't intrinsically motivated or competitive. Hire Resolve's proven target-based strategy is why they are so successful and known amongst the top industry HR leaders. You will get uncomfortable here and there but you will also grow tremendously.

Cons

Although many find this a difficult environment, the right personality thrives and is rewarded.

Pros

Free popcorn and coffee, but it can't make up for the terrible salary, constant checkups and micro managing, being watched by camera's all over the office constantly and no flexibility at all. I once arrived 10 minutes late for work, because my I had to take my husband to the hospital. I had to fill in a leave form for 10 minutes!!! but it's acceptable to come in an hour early most mornings then you get "rewarded" by being able to leave 10 minutes earlier in the afternoon.

Cons

*Bad working culture *No flexibility or freedom *They flood online search portals with hundreds of ads for positions that don't exists everyday between Tsumini, Goldman Tech and Hire Resolve almost making it impossible for perceptive job seekers to find real jobs. *They monitor and control all communications and activity that takes place on the computer system e.g. We had to make use of our own personal LinkedIn accounts to posts vacancies (that don't exist) thus your account will be on auto login on your desktop. Once management actually confronted a co-employee over personal messages she received from other companies headhunting her. Basically crossing ethical lines by reading personal messages without consent and then threatening her. The message was clear: if we find out you are looking for another job by breaching your privacy and spying on you we will fire you. *Provided little to no guidance and expected to perform at a high level In short: There are other recruitment agencies that offer better working conditions and a dynamic team environment that also follow APSO industry guidelines. If a work environment that is non flexible, sexist and requires of you to cross ethical lines is something you want to avoid then steer clear from Hire Resolve.
