-This company is not worth for your time and energy. Most of the time they follow European culture which does not apply in USA. -Toxic environment. If managers do not like you or you have any conflict, they will do their best to make you feel uncomfortable to the point where it forces you to quit. They try to find out your fault in every possible way. - This is the place where biasness is encouraged. I have experienced people to get promoted to three step just after joining within 1/1.5 years after graduation without having any successful contribution. People get evaluated in 'outstanding' category and get more than 7% salary raise not even completing a full year after joining due to biasness. -This is the place where you may not be able to speak-up. If you speak up, you will be cornered in such a way that you will not be able to get promoted. They will come up with vague reasons not to promote you whatever good contributions you have made for company. Overall, this company hires good people, but bad at retaining them due to it's bad culture.

ABB should have learned what made Hitachi good, rather than dropping their standards to ABB's level. Management only cares if the problem is elevated to their manager. HR abdicated all responsibilities. Comfortable with the status quo. Every level of management says "you are not in a silo", but all the departments are only worried about not getting in trouble.
