Pros

Great people Easy access to leadership within the firm Good combination of being a relatively new company but also being stable and established in a lot of ways Work-life balance is generally very good for a consulting company Market focus helps keeps people local

Cons

While the company has come a long way in the last few years, there is still room for improvement with regard to methodologies, processes, etc. Markets and practice areas are all managed in different ways

Pros

good place to start if you're coming out fo college but not for Sr Consultant. They have a nice benefits package, which is good for those that need it. Great Health benefits.

Cons

poor managment, poor communication, impossible to get people to do their jobs correctly. The management and recruiting team is not technical even close to enough to understand their own consultants and clients' needs. They don't review their consultants skill sets to better place them for growth of the company or growth of the consultant. Efforts should be taken from the top down to reduce turnover and keep consultants on staff that actually know their skill sets not fake them.

Pros

Hitachi is a great place to work if you are starting your career. All consultants have a career advisor to help them strategically plan a career path for them at the company. The company prides itself on maintaining a work-life balance, by incorporating community and social activities. Additionally, you work with a great group of consultants similar in age.

Cons

The company does not offer educational reimbursements, and only does so on a case-by-case basis. Compensation is average compared to some of the bigger consulting firms in the area. You are placed on projects, rather having a say in some of the projects that may be of some interest to you.
