      Pros

      Great place for a young person to start out their career, especially when just exiting college. Received vast exposure to clients, business problems. Was given the opportunity to display skills in a variety of ways including internal initiatives/events. Management is helpful when allowing people to seek work that appeals to them.

      Cons

      Based on input from other colleagues and peers, Hitachi Consulting's compensation (especially at the lower ranks) may be significantly less than consulting firms of similar size; this includes salary and bonuses. Benefits compared to other firms and client companies are decent, but not covered 100% by the firm.

      Pros

      small consulting company with greta quality of consultants. The oroginal company Tactica was superb, which went downhill after acquisition of Anderson consulting team which took over the company and brought a lot of favoritism in play comparable benefits

      Cons

      a lot of favoritism and disregard for hardworking consultants when it was time for promotion. Promotions were based on your selling skills rather than delivery skills.

      Pros

      Great place to begin your consulting career. Very competent and helpful co-workers so pretty good culture. Pay is pretty fair (but not extravagant). Fairly loyal company...particularly to upper management. Great job by Marketing team to increase favorable visibility of the company over the years. Management wants very much to create a "sticky" work environment to decrease turnover...therefore, they really seem to want to do the right thing for employees. Review process is heavy in overhead but, because it calibrates among consultants, it is more effective than only one-on-one reviews.

      Cons

      Communications from the top could be stronger. Room for improvement in collaboration among teams, particularly around sales. Fairly wide breadth of claimed expertise so getting critical mass in some areas is difficult for a medium-sized company...like too many plates to spin effectively.
